By booking a stay with us, guests agree to follow the house rules while staying at The Benninghofen House:

General House Rules:

• Check in time is 3 pm. If your apartment is ready early we'll let you know.
• Check out time is by 11 am.
• No pets allowed.
• No events allowed (unless booked and paid for separately from the stay).
• No smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes inside (smoking outside is OK).
• No more than a few (3 max) visitors during your stay. If there will be more guests (for example, using the space to get ready for a wedding) please let us know ahead of time.
• Keep noise levels at a minimum during your stay to respect all house guests.
• Quiet time for the house and yard is 10 pm-8 am.

Backyard:

• The backyard is a shared space for guests of The Benninghofen House. More than a few (3 max) visitors of guests is not allowed without prior approval.
• If there is a private event scheduled at the house, the backyard will not be available to house guests during the event. We'll make every effort to give advance notice of private events during stays. If you definitely plan to use the backyard during your stay, reach out ahead of time and let us know so we can let you know of any potential events.
• The backyard is a lush space with gardens and typical wildlife that you find in a backyard including bugs, spiders, squirrels, birds, and neighborhood cats that roam in and out from time to time.
• Kids are not allowed in the yard without a grown up.
• Use of the backyard and play equipment is at your own risk. We do not assume responsibility for accidents that happen in the backyard.
• Guests are not permitted to use the hot tub.
• Guests may use the outdoor refrigerator and grill (not the smoker or pizza oven).
• Guests may use the fire pit (not the gas fireplace). Reach out ahead of or during your stay for more information about the grill and fire pit.

Cancellation Policy:

Guests must cancel a booking at least 5 days ahead of the stay to receive a refund. If cancelling within that time frame, contact us to discuss options.
